The Seacrete stool is a unique sustainable design made using a Low-Tech casting technique. It is made from oysters, mussels, a mix of shells and seaweed. Made from abandoned materials, natural materials straight from the local beach and restaurants. The embedded shells create natural fossil-like formations in the object, inspired by petrified limestone, with unique textures and colours that can be both seen and felt. The stool is not only aesthetically pleasing, but when returned to the sea, it can decompose back into the material cycle it came from and gradually transform into a habitat for marine life. As it slowly decomposes, it enriches the environment with nutrients, strengthening its deep connection with nature - a blend of design, ecology and regeneration.
