Why the choice of HITCH?

HITCH's connectors have been developed with circularity in mind. Their modular design makes them versatile, from assembling furniture to building information booths. The connectors can be attached to various types of sheet materials, and HITCH even strives to integrate recycled materials into their projects. Quiet HITCH

Quiet HITCH is a collaboration between HITCH Tools and Janneke Vanneste, with the aim of creating a safe space in overstimulating environments, such as nightlife. They achieved this by building booths of different sizes and shapes with various sheet materials and HITCH connectors. These booths offer visitors a place to unwind.

Thanks to the modular design of the connectors, the booths can be built quickly, in just 30 minutes. After use, they can be dismantled even faster, within 20 minutes, without damage to the materials. These can then be easily reused and rebuilt elsewhere.

The Quiet Box

While discussions on mental health are increasing, physical solutions are lacking.

These modular boxes are the first product specifically designed to combat overstimulation in public and work environments.

Hitch thus offers a simple spatial method through the modular Quiet Space Boxes to provide hassle-free, flexible and soundproof spaces wherever they are needed. Whether in schools, offices, event venues or hospitals, these easy-to-mount modules create a private, quiet environment for relaxation and stress-free moments.

HITCH at Kamp C

At 't Centre, we have adopted the concept of the Quiet Box, but apply it for a different purpose. Our cubicle provides a quiet space to call in silence or enjoy some quiet time. Currently, the box is on the first floor, but thanks to its easy disassembly, we can always move it or rebuild it elsewhere.
